Jewellery Celebrating the Bonds of Motherhood
Faith Mother is a custom WordPress and WooCommerce shop where customers personalise necklaces and pendants with live pricing, gem-letter animations, and an editor-friendly block-based CMS.
Overview
Cat from Faith Mother approached me to build a bespoke jewellery experience inside WooCommerce, not bolted onto a rigid catalogue. Customers needed to personalise pieces with chosen attributes and see pricing update in real time, matching the feel of the interactive MAMA pendant page and gem-letter product animations on the existing brand site.
The previous setup was limited for product flexibility and hard to extend. I replaced that with a custom WordPress theme and WooCommerce logic that handles multiple attribute combinations, designer necklace lettering, engraving options, and a smooth shop flow, including AJAX add to bag and a polished single-product layout with split-scroll presentation and fluid gemstone selection animation.
Content is managed through custom Gutenberg blocks so Cat can update pages without a page builder. I also migrated the site from the previous developer’s hosting to her new WordPress environment with no downtime and full functionality preserved.
